Hi. My game client cannot seem to finish updating. It just seems to go in a loop (extracting updates, installing updates, reviewing integrity...). I gave up after four hours last night, and the problem appears no better today, so I figured I should try to uninstall and reinstall. The problem is that I can't seem to do that either. I went to my computer's (Windows 10) Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, right-clicked World of Tanks NA, and hit Uninstall (the only option). All this did was bring up the launcher, which resumed trying to update itself. No message about trying to uninstall. There was another program with the name World of Tanks in the Programs list, but when I tried to uninstall that, I got an error message saying that the program could not be found and that it was possible I had already uninstalled it, and it prompted me to remove it from the list, which I did. (And that one is not showing up in the Recycle Bin, so now I can't even screenshot it to show you exactly what I mean.) I think that other program may have been the Wargaming Game Center, which I believe I uninstalled in March after WoTClassic didn't turn out to be very fun.

Is there anything I'm missing? Do I really have to let the launcher finish updating before I can uninstall the game? Because at this rate I think I'm going to be stuck indefinitely with a game that I can't play.

Thanks for your time.

Here's my system information in case you guys need it.

Just drag the entire world of tanks folder into the trash.  Then run the installer again.  Pretty sure this worked for me in the past.

Dont see a dedicated vid card which is a major problem and try using ccleaner to get rid of it.

Don't listen to this guy, it doesn't help your problem.

If you have a really slow connection try to delete the folders, updates/updatesdata, in the world of tanks install folder.  If that doesn't work you can just delete the world of tanks install folder and redownload the game.  This should fix any problems with updates failing to install.

everybody keeps forgetting that you have to go to C:\Users ->"your username" -->AppData -->Roaming and delete the wargaming.net folder as well. that's where all the settings and so forth are saved, if something is amiss, i may be in that folder.

Thanks for the replies. I fixed the problem by re-downloadng the Game Center and uninstalling the game from there. I also fixed my update problem by re-installing the game from Game Center. It took over an hour, but at least it wasn't stuck in an endless loop.
